The maximum interest rate a credit union can charge on credit cards is 18%.
Given the new credit card laws which did NOT cap interest rates credit card companies can charge, you may want to look into becoming a member of a credit union and applying for one of their cards. We highly recommend this if your credit card interest rate is over 18%.
